T33932 93-1/2" x 1/2" x .025" x 8-12 TPI VP Bi-Metal Bandsaw Blade
A 93-1/2" variable pitch bi-metal blade for cleaner cuts.
Variable pitch bandsaw blades are a little different than traditional pitch blades. The teeth per inch (TPI) are not uniform but switch within a group of teeth. The section with less TPI has larger gullets for clearing out debris followed by a section of greater TPI for cleaning up the cut.
In addition, this style of blade minimizes harmonic vibration for less noise and a better overall cut. A variable-tooth set also reduces tooth stripping that occurs when cutting hard materials. Above all, it offers high heat, wear, and shock resistance.
The flex back blade helps with absorbing the stresses of cutting. It is heat-treated at the teeth, leaving the back with more flexibility for movement through the material.
We are selling these 93-1/2" variable pitch blades from 5-8 to 14-18 TPI, from 1/4" to 3/4" wide. The 8-12 TPI blade cuts faster than the 14-18 TPI blade.
